A crispy, flavorful appetizer featuring spicy buffalo chicken dip rolled in wonton wrappers and baked to perfection. Perfect for parties and game day snacking.

This is one of my favorite appetizers to bring to gatherings. Everyone loves the spicy cheesy flavor wrapped in crispy wontons.

Ingredients

  • Chicken & Cheese Mixture: 2 cups cooked chicken breast, finely shredded, 120 g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese, 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce (more or less to taste), 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 2 green onions, thinly sliced, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Assembly: 24 square wonton wrappers, 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash), Cooking spray or oil, for baking

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined and creamy.
Prepare Wrappers:
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean work surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the buffalo chicken mixture along one edge of each wrapper, forming a thin log.
Roll Pinwheels:
Roll each wrapper tightly into a pinwheel shape. Brush the edges with beaten egg to seal.
Arrange and Brush:
Place pinwheels seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush or spray the tops with oil or cooking spray.
Bake:
Bake for 16–18 minutes, or until the wontons are golden and crisp.
Cool and Serve:
