01 -  Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. 
 02 -  Combine Brussels sprouts with olive oil, kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and minced garlic in a large bowl and toss until evenly coated. 
 03 -  Spread seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly distribute the chopped bacon over the vegetables. 
 04 -  Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, tossing once halfway, until Brussels sprouts are deeply golden and bacon is crisp. 
 05 -  Transfer roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon to a serving dish. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using. Serve immediately while hot.
