- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Mix gently until ingredients are just incorporated.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking sheet. Form into a large hand shape with five fingers, rounding each finger's tip. Define knuckles and creases using your thumb and a knife.
- Press an almond sliver or onion piece into the tip of each finger to resemble fingernails.
- Insert a small piece of onion at the base of the hand to represent a wrist bone.
- In a small bowl, stir together ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Brush half the mixture over the formed hand, reserving remaining glaze for serving.
- If desired, dab red food coloring around fingertips or wrist for enhanced visual effect.
- Place in oven and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F in the thickest section.
- Allow hand-shaped loaf to rest 5 minutes. Slice and serve with reserved ketchup glaze.
