# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken for approximately 4 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even browning.
04 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ginger, and cornstarch until fully combined and smooth.
